Marina di Pisa

Spread the love

On the day 4th July 2022 Saturday at 13:00, me and my friend Dinesh were thinking to go to the beach but as per the weather suggestion, we decided to change our minds
to go to the swimming pool instead. We called the swimming pool personnel for appointments only to hear, they are only open in the mornings.
We then thought to go against the odds and stick to our previous plan of going to the beach soon after having our lunch. We checked the bus route that goes directly to marina di Pisa
from the center which is bus no. 10. We arrived at the bus stop to catch the bus where we met two travelers Sofi(from Chile) and Jeremie(from Canada) who are also on the same path as ours.
We reached the beach and stopped at a restaurant nearby as they haven’t had their lunch. We gave them company with a drink and were discussing
our travel experiences as we understood that one common thing among all of us is to travel all around the world. :D.

Sofi shared her travel experiences and her cool work of working in a brewery. Jeremie just graduated from the university and is traveling Europe before joining his job as a consultant.
We also got to know from the restaurant that there are supermarkets nearby to buy some drinks and snacks for the beach. We went to the nearby Conad to buy some beers, wine, and chips and headed our way to the beach. We then selected a place to put down our things, also with a good view of the beach.
Out of all of us, I am the only one who had visited the place before. Everybody loved the beach seeing the crystal clear water and the atmosphere. The sun was bright
and the temperature was energizing everyone. We started with beers before going to the water. Just when I was about to go to the water I met a couple Thomasso(from Italy), and El Vitta(from Latvia) who were sitting just behind us and were so vibrant and joyful which caught my attention. I then went
to know more about them. They were also very happy seeing me and greeted me with joy. I was really surprised to know the amount of knowledge they had about
India and I just gave it a boost. 😛 El Vitta was experimental in getting the conversation going. While we were talking, my friends came back after spending some time in the water. We then opened the wine and had a toast.
Then without waiting any longer I jumped into the water to get lost in the beauty and serenity of the beach. While I came back Tomasso came up with a different plan
of fishing a few sea urchins. As I’m not great at swimming I shied away from the plan :P. Tomasso then got 2 urchins and shared them with everyone.
For me, it was incredible seeing the urchins for the first time so close, and also while it was still moving. Also to know the fact that
there was hardly any meat when the urchin was cut. After that, we spent some time talking and then we again went inside to the water for some pics and videos and then to know the fact that
it was already 18:00. Sofi and Jeremie had to go back to Florence the same day. So we wrapped everything and got back going.
We greeted bye to the couple who gave us a terrific company and took the same number 10 bus to reach Pisa Centrale(The train station).
I and Dinesh went to the train station to give them a send-off. As I always say, “rather than the places itself, it’s the people or the company
with whom you were, that make the places special and a give you great moments to remember”. We close the episode with this beautiful message and see you all again next time. Have fun. 🙂
